Are you ready for this? #PlentyHeat bursts into MPavilion for a fiery afternoon of live rap and soul acts from across Melbourne.
Hosted by Fitzroy Clubhouse—a youth centre in Fitzroy, Melbourne with a focus on music production—this MMusic spectacular will feature some of the organisation’s youngest rising stars alongside a cast of experienced performers.
The line-up from within the Clubhouse includes none other than the notorious eleven-year-old rap squad, Girl Zone (fresh from appearances at Peel Street Festival and supporting American rapper Noname on her Australian tour), plus eight-year-old pop/rap trailblazers Lit Queens a.k.a. Abuk, Kuei and Adhol.
From around Melbourne we have North Sudanese rapper P-UniQue; up-and-coming soul artist RINI, a.k.a. Justerini Sandoval; neo-soul artist Kye; plus interstitial tunes courtesy of synth-pop, satin-luxe RnB duo Pillow Pro (DJ set).
Trust us: you won’t want to miss this!
