Max Stolkin

Max Stolkin is a professor of fine art at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador. He earned his BA in comparative literature at the Evergreen State College, and his MFA between CSU and Kunsthochschule Mainz. He has published print projects and artists books with Universitat der Kunste Berlin; Covertext, Koln; Printed Matter, NYC; Night Papers and Night Gallery, LA; and AKV Berlin. He was an artist-in-residence with the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and has exhibited works at Kansas Gallery, NYC; White Flag Projects, St. Louis; The Colombia College Center for Book and Paper Arts Chicago; Quartair, the Hague; and Present Co., Brooklyn; among others.
