Sophie Patitsas

Sophie Patitsas is principal adviser with the Office of the Victorian Government Architect and a member of the Victorian Design Review Panel. Joining the Victorian Public Service in 1997 as an urban designer, Sophie has established a reputation as a respected collaborator, leader, advocate and strategic adviser on architecture and urban design within government. She maintains close links with industry and schools of architecture and urban design in Victoria and is the current chair of RMIT’s Program Advisory Committee for the Masters of Urban Design. Sophie’s focus is on building design capability and promoting the value of design excellence for its ability to create delight and enhance people’s experience of place.
